Well I hadn't seen the article,Chrispy,but I'm not all that surprised.It's not the first time or even the youngest kid to kill themself over bullying at school.Some kids get picked on worse,so it's not just that they 'cant take it'.
I dropped out of school back in grade 9 because I couldn't take being there anymore.Fortunately I did end up getting my grade 12 later on.
But I never had it as bad as some did,I know because I saw and I did nothing just like so many others.But I was a kid,so I didn't know how to stop it without having the 'guns turned on me' so to speak.The teachers and parents are the ones who have to do something.Somebody does.Recently I saw schools teaching anti-bullying to younger kids.If we can teach them anger-management and give them 'life skill' training while they are still young,then maybe we can,at least,cut down on the bullying.It's working with the whole 'anti-smoking' thing,so why not?!
