Reply to My current plans for my DMOD

I have returned from my Xmas break (not that I went on holiday, its just that Ive been rather sick for the last few month,s so I gave myself a period of rest), and back to my DMOD. I have nevertheless being busy planning my DMOD, and reconsidering a few of my pre-break decisions. In another two days (after I finish designing a fantasy city for my friend) I will be back at my DMOD again, slogging away.
I was thinking I might run a few things about my DMOD past you folks, after all you know what makes a good DMOD, most of you have played alot of them. Your suggestions etc would be appreciated, and who knows, you might get to improve my DMOD..which is good for everyone really, after all, eventually you will be playing it yourselves (in six months time or there abouts).
Here are are some things I would appreciate constructive comments on:
**** I have changed the name of the DMOD to Lands of Chaos. The old name was The Scroll of Chaos, but I realised that there will most likely never be such a scroll in the DMOD, and really, I dont want to force it in just so the name is accurate. Bear in mind, Lands of Chaos is another working title. Do you have anything similar you might suggest?
&&&& I have set things up so at the start you get a choice of one of three weapons for Dink to start the game with. A lightning sword, an axe and a bow. The lightning sword is of course bascially just the normal sword with elemental graphics in place of the normal attack sequences, and the swords stats changed just abit.
Keep in mind that my Dink has better starting stats than in most DMODs, so I have of course been forced to make the monsters abit harder. The axe and bow are also edited to be roughly as powerful as the sword, the axe is slower and does less damage, the bow is faster and all that. I have not quite perfected getting the balance right as of yet, but I am nearly done, I just need to balance a few script values.
It is a similar thing with the spells, Dink choooses one of three spells to choose from, including a faster, but less damaging version of the fireball. The other two spells are edited versions of other spells, and will be about as powerful as the altered fireball of course
##### I have given Dink a girlfriend...I know, Dink does not deserve one, even my seemingly more respectable Dink, but he does have one. Dont worry, he gets no sex from her, she rather prefers board games, much to Dinks frustrations.
@@@@ My Dink is more successful than you might expect, he is a stonemason and has a large house and even staff (which he mistreats horribly of course), as part of a huge inheritance from his parents, which he is squandering though, and later it will be revealed things are not as they first appear...
