Behold, for here is my analysis of DN-crowdyness:

Hehum...

TDN is a busy place when lots of people have lots of free time. These times are:

Summer holiday
Christmas holiday

And of course the few weeks before and after. Now what we are experiencing now, is the member-influx due to the Christmas holiday. Now what is the reason behind this?

Well, it's simple. During these two holidays there's no such thing as school or university, and most working people get some days off too. They know nothing to do, and are bored. So... They open up their favourite browser, go to a search machine and type in: "freeware games" and eventually a genre. Now as we all know, Dink has been chosen MANY times as the best freeware game ever, and it's very likely that anyone that types in "freeware games RPG" will come across it. Now I must say I cheated a bit, but google search for "freeware RPG" (at the moment of this typing) will give this page as a top result. And you'll notice that Dink Smallwood is on the list.

This explains the newbie-influx. The old-guys/gals just return, because they remember this to be such a really cool place
