: It would probably help if your defense and magic were higher. When I first played I always upped my attack, but that is really not best. Magic is good for resisting harm. Defense gives more life and less damage, so more time to fight. Seth takes time to defeat.
TrayC's got the idea; just build up your stats really well. But you should also save up your gold and get the Fire Bow, availible for purchase South of Windemere. It makes Seth a lot easier to take down.
