I first trained to be a machinist. Nobody was hiring/apprenticing for that, so I did some metal fabricating, and fixed cars on the side. Lately I make houses, but spend way too much time fixing this beater Daytona turbo. I turned out pretty handy. I fix whatever gets in my way.
As for my mom, I love her dearly, but I don't know anyone who is worse with money than her. I would protect what is rightly hers, but I'd best buy her condos or a fourplex giving her a home and rent for steady income.
