Dink and the wheel of time
Things have been quiet and peaceful for Dink since he returned to his small village. Single and enjoying his youth he spends most of his time drinking in the local pub and enjoying his celebrity.
The one day a stranger appears in Dinks village he is very strange to behold looking like one of the wizards except he has red skin and dark clothing. He tells Dink that he must travel with him to a far and distant land where the female magi are born. Dink of course questions what this has to do with him. The strange man tells him that Dinks notority has spread through the world and his mistress has fortold that only Dink can save them all from destruction.
Dink agrees to travel to this foreign land. Using magic they are transported to Zangabar the home of the female magi.
Dink meets the Emperess of Zangabar she is tall and looks like an amazon all the people here have red skin. The empress explains the history of her land. She tells how long ago her people were blessed with the responsibility to protect the wheel of time a powerful enchantment which controls the world as we know it. If it was to be disturbed then the world would cease to turn and darkness will fall upon the land destroying all life. This responsibility was to be protected and the females in the line of the royal family were enchanted so that once in their life time they would give birth to a female magi. It were to be these magis who protected and served the wheel of time. Each lived only as long as her mother. As a new empresses reigned she would give life to a new magi.
Dink has listened intently to this long history and now asks what has he got to do with this since she is the empress and she has her magi to protect the wheel of time?
Then the empresses tells him that the female magi disappeared in the middle of the night. When the palace awaoke she could be found no where. For all the magis power she has no way to protect her self and that is the job of her people. So now Dink we are asking you to help us recover the magi. We believe she has been taken my a evil sourcerer who wishes to destroy this planet as part of his evil dementia. You must travel to the furtherest corners of the world to a dark forest which no person has stepped foot in for thousands of years. There will be some things you will need to gather to help you complete your quest. There are several villages which were given a piece of a magical weapon. Travel first and collect the pieces so that you can use it to help you defeat the sorcerer and return our magi.
Dink accepets his quest (hopefully) and sets of to restore harmony to the world.
After travelling through various villages and collecting the weapon he places it together and travels to the dark forest. He makes his way to the evil sourcerer and duly slays him ( with lots of blood !! ) He finds the magi but she is weak and sick. On the return trip she dies. Dink understands what he must do as the magi spoke to him in riddles before she left. He returns to the palace and slays the empress. In due time the new empress gives birth to a new magi and the world is saved...
