Edit:Whoops!

Wow! It certainly doesn't feel like a quarter past midnight. Anyways, for our summer reading this year we had to read one of several books. For student going into their junior year the choice of academic area to read in were Phisical Education (can't exactly bench press a book), Foreighn Language(Didn't include clasic fiction, just biographies for the most part), the Arts, or technology.

I chose my book from the tech list being a list comprised of non-fiction thrillers and sci-fi. Ender's Game was my choice.

I heard that it was a pretty good book from someone who read it. They were quite right. Ender's game was an excellent book, and i read it over the course of two days. I read the sequel, Speaker For the Dead in roughly a week, maybe less. It was as good if not better.

I started the next sequel Xenocide a while ago, but put it aside. I definately plan to get back to it later.

Any book recomendations? I'm thinking of readinf the Simarilion after i finish reading Lord of the Rings. I read the Hobbit and the Felloship of the Ring, but couldn't finish. I just couldn't continue reading the two towers. SPOILER! The Fellowship just ended at such a low point it was hard to keep reading.
"Ok they're chasing the Ur-Hakai. Still chasing them...Yeah Merry and Pippin are probably dead anyways." Its really hard to read a sequel when the previous book ends at such a sad place, and the next one starts there with out something to drawyou back into the book. "Well then Boromir's dead. Sam and Frodo ran off alone, Sam and Merry are held captives by a force of Orcs that does not need rest and runs faster than us with dwarf boy laggin' behind. Even if we catch them they'll probably be dead anyways. Lets do it!"
