Should a mosque be off limits if that can be proven?

I could smack you for that one.

I know my stuff when it comes to intel, and even if they did hide there and secured all mosques they would just go somewhere else. The truth is, they do not hide in one place, they do not look liek one person. A 3 year old child, and a 80 year old white woman could be a terrorist just as easially as a middle aged man middle eastern man. The key to winning the war is awareness. Be aware of your surrounding, most of the times, people notice wierd things about the situation before it acctually happens that could have prevented the attack, or at least helped prevent loss of life, ect.

I spent 20 hours doing anti-terrorismn classes and it's not just up to military, it's up to the citizens as well. People tend to just ignore warning signs and just 'mind their own bussiness'. But, that is mostly the governments fault if you ask me. Most governments tend to like to gloat to their people and make it sound liek they can't be touched and they are all so big, then when something happens, it is a shock. The other main problem is being defensive with their military and not offensive. If you are chasing after the terrorist and showing them that you are after their ass (both looking for them with eyes and intellegence), then they will be on the defense and less likely be able to attack.

Basically, terrorist are not affraid to die and will do anything to harm you for their cause (whatever they fudge bullshoot they are claiming now days). If we do not at least try to take care of this, then they have won because they have the element of fear and suprise. I am willing to lay my life on the line for the cause of trying to make sure people like those in madrid don't do for a bullcrap cause, I think civillians can support their governments decision to help that cause and be part of it by showing they are not afraid. But, alas, I am one man and no one man can change that.

As for Iraq, my opinion varies on whether we should be there (even though few terrorist are there), but I personally find it kind of hard to argue against taking out saddams government after seeing pictures and hearing stories first hand from my fellow airmen who have served over there. However I do agree our reason was probably bullshoot.
