: Okay all you Dinkers... I'm in the final stages of Alpha of Pilgrim's Quest and thought I'd do a little market research about gameplay:
: Levelling up - hard or easy? I remember walking around forever in the original Dink to get money exp so I could get strong enough to battle slayers, then doing it again to battle stone giants. But do people like this?
: 1. Do you like fighting loads of monsters?
: 2. Do you like secrets with extra goodies that help in leveling up or not?
: 3. Ummm... saying anything useful here about gameplay...
: 4. Oh, there are riddles in Pilgrim's Quest, and I can't take them out as they are part of the story progression... So for those that don't like riddles I guess you wont be playing
: PS There is a webpage with a couple of pics on it for those who can find it... thought I'd tease you a bit
I like leveling up, but raising the stats only by fighting is tedious. So, putting a lot of secrets on the map makes it much much much more interesting.
And about the riddles, I like them a lot, but you should be able to get a tip to solve the difficult ones somewhere or you won't be able to progress.
