I had this same problem. I ran around forever, saved, then realized that I had foobar'd the map copying process. I copyied it just fine, just not in the LOT dir, but the:
my downloaded dmods dir where I first save the dmods. What a dope. SO, my save is jacked because I start off in some crazy ass in the middle of the water area. Anyone know how to tweak the SAVE.DAT file to fix my &player_map variable?
