If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
If you go back to where you entered the mines (the well entrance) you should see all the freed slaves congregated with a man threatening them. Kill the man then I believe the door will either open or you can open it yourself then. The slaves will leave through the door. You should be able to follow them out.
