You got the good ending - 
The bad ending, or rather there's a couple of other endings, ie a few ways to end up without the fourth stone and one other way to end up with the fourth stone, is to think you need to kill Mary to get the fourth stone and become a Priest of the Righteous Path to do this. This was the original way forward, as there was no chance to rescue Little Richard before.
