No, not all the puzzles. It's an extra way to bypass tile puzzles, if you have a wrench handy, because we knew it was cryptic and probably should make another way past. It only works if you examine the correct papers, so when ghost knight said it was recommended to read the papers.. well, you can't do the wrench trick without it.
I'll be trying to fix the bug Linux users experienced anyway. So obviously Linux and Windows has a different FreeDink version or something? Even though they both say 109.6? Weird..
Edit: Indeed for some reason on Linux, it is exhausting all variable space. I will look into this.
