LOOK UPON MY DEFORMED FACE!
I was asking Skorn earlier about which rocks can actually be pushed in the main game and he informed me that along with the Bonca rock, there's a rock near Windemere that may be also pushed which forms part of an arrow. Apologies in advance if this has already been unravelled, however I think many people would have encountered said rock and had their OCD kick in as they notice quite clearly that it's out of place.

However, this is actually a developer oversight due to the reuse of the s1-roc.c file that controls the Bonca cave rock. What it does is use a global variable to keep track of the rock position to see if it has been moved or not. Now most people will of course move the Bonca rock and not put it back afterwards meaning that for just about everyone, the Arrow rock will always be out of place when they first encounter it as there's no real reason to move it back after killing the monster.

In theory, the arrow rock is supposed to conceal a barrel with a golden heart in it, but of course due to this oversight it'll just about always be visible. What this also means is that if you move the Arrow rock left, it'll move the Bonca rock back as well.
