The Dink Network

Ive installed/uninstalled Dink several times over the last 5 years with no problems, but this time something strange happened. Anytime i run the original Dink or a D-mod it will run ok, but the graphics will be flashing, as well as any text shown, the games are still fully playable but the flashing trees/houses/enemies/barrels/ are extremely annoying, any suggestions/any one had this problem before and can offer some advice?
