I'm just a sweet transvestite! From transsexual Transylvania.

That aside, I know to an extent how difficult it is to come out. People think you're joking, or they think you're a freak. I've personally dealt with judgement because I'm a Therian, and I have a family member who is transitioning. They actually came out to my brother and I first because they were certain that we would understand. Our acceptance helped bolster them, even though they would have gone through with it if we hadn't been accepting. Both of these has given me some insight, enough to have some amount of empathy instead of sympathy.
Hell, I often feel like I don't actually know what I'm talking about when I say I do empathize. I've had a lot of people, both Trans and not, tell me that I was full of shit of an 'advanced furry' for telling them I'm a wolf trapped in a Human body. It's a terrible feeling, and I usually play it off as nothing because, well, a person thinks or feels they're not human? Must be crazy!
I've seen similar reactions to trans people, hell my own father has all but denounced my family member as demon possessed or something because they're trans. There are so many times I want to punch him in the face for it, but I don't because I literally can't afford to do it.
Hell, I kinda feel like I'm crazy or stupid saying this. I've already told everyone before, and that went well. T.T
