No, I tried that and it wouldn't work.
It's okay for me because I'm not planning to make any more dmods, but I think other Linux users will run into the same problem.
I'm not sure who (if anyone) maintains FreeDinkEdit. Is it Beuc? Maybe Shevek will successfully get his editor up and running. If so, maybe he can get it to go in the Linux repository with the FreeDink package.
