Alternatively, if you send a save game through to my email address (notext@gmail.com) and let me know a) the version number of CC2 and b) the version of Dink Smallwood you are playing with I can take a look and see if I can reproduce it. I'd like to fix this if there's a way of reproducing the issue. I have just given it a try and it doesn't appear to be broken in Dink 1.08 CC2 version 1.01, but I'm not ruling out the possibility that there are issues that could be caused by other game circumstances. I wouldn't necessarily recommend editing the game to get past the statue - I don't know if anything else is likely to break if you do so - but if other users have done so without issue it might be OK.

Also bear in mind the following:

- Hitting a statue twice will cause the puzzle to reset - your will need to start again from the first statue. This includes hitting the last statue - if you hit Y, R, C, X and then X again without going to the fountain then the key will be hidden.
- The colour of the X isn't intentional, but isn't a problem either. It doesn't indicate that the puzzle is solved or unsolved or anything like that.
- The sound effect that plays when you hit the correct statue is different to the one that plays when you hit an incorrect one. This should give you an indication of the progress you have made when solving the puzzle.
- The order of the statues should be bottom left, bottom right, top left, top right. If the letters are appearing in the incorrect place, let me know. (I could have sworn I saw the letters in the wrong place when watching someone stream CC2 once, but when I looked and when I look now they all appear correct)
- The puzzle is solved by hitting the statues, not by talking to them.
- Aside from the sound effect, you won't be able to see whether you have solved the puzzle until you return to the room with the fountain.
