There are some things that annoys me in FreeDink:
1. No additional 4:3 aspect ratio resolutions. I mean come on, it's 2014, why can't we get the option to set up the resolution into like 1024x768 or 1280x1024.
2. No borderless fullscreen. For those who don't know what it is, basically it's windowed mode but without borders, when a correct resolution is set, it looks like ya playing in fullscreen....except the fact that you don't HAVE to wait for the black screen to disappear and of course you ca switch between programs much faster.
Most of the time a source port of a game is generally a improvement of the original source, allowing you to customize the game even more, add a support to the modern systems and in come cases, add some new scripts that pretty much lets you make any mods interesting, hell, having a OpenGL library on it could make any dmod interesting and with some new editor for that. That would really push the game engine's limit beyond it.
