If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
1 is already fixed in the latest (still work-in-progress version, I believe) version: http://www.beuc.net/tmp/. 2 as well, as far as I can see, although the minimize/maximize/close window buttons on the top-right don't seem to work, and instead just make the window active.
