I have to admit, the sudden outburst at the ducky narration got me laughing as well, though more because you started it Coco 
I don't remember having any trouble or being annoyed with the fetch quest when I played this, and I don't always worry too much about them or find them to be a big deal. Sometimes though they can be a little extreme, though.
