I remember having so much trouble with this when I played it for the first time. Hardness gaps aren't really things I look for so I completely missed that walkway to the island below martridge's cabin. I tried hitting random things with bombs- like the bomb bag. Unfortunately that didn't do anything. I ran out of bombs and gave up. I just wish blowing up the bag of bombs caused a super duper hyper major explosion and kills everyone and the portals. But then the pets return unharmed to the island that is now a dystopia. That'd be the best ending.
