Okay, stop having a nervous breakdown. Video games really don't matter when it comes to society. So a bunch of people want a video game, let them have it, otherwise those people are going to complain to their government that they don't want that game banned, not to mention there's no culturally abhorrent thing located within the game as far as I know.
I don't like rap, or most music released in this day and age. Therefore, I listen to music from video games. You don't see me trying to create or sign petitions to have rap or dubstep banned because I know that inevitably my time will be wasted as people will look at me like I'm an idiot for trying to force other people to conform to my viewpoint.
You don't like the game, don't play it. That just means that the company will not get your money, and if you really want to make a difference, support indie developers, talk about how much better indie developers are in comparison to companies like Rockstar (it helps to have a well thought out conversation) and convince people to try the games out.

Speaking of which, there's this awesome game called MARDEK created by a guy known as Pseudolonewolf. You should play it.
