Spirituality can be good and bring peace to a person. But when that spirituality comes from a strict religion it will most likely bring peace only through conformity and faith and thus is easily broken and manipulated by others. Thus I believe spirituality without strict religion is good, but strict religion in general is bad. "Strict" meaning other people or mediums such as the Bible "rule" over you so to speak.
