They've constantly gone less and less difficult. Ten years ago they still were somewhat hard, but these days most games are just a joke when it comes to the challenge.
But then again I'm not a hardcore gamer either.
I play my games for the experiences, not the challenge.
I'm not a hardcore gamer. I rarely play these days. But when I can beat most games on hard mode without losing a single time, that's getting a bit too easy. In fact, it's more like watching a movie, cause you don't even have to do anything. Just push buttons a few times and then watch another cutscene.
