You won't contribute/saving lives/anything by saying you're a vegetarian and you'll only hinder everything and people will get annoyed and you'll probably be picked on for the rest of your vegetarian life. Which I hope won't last long. Eat meat, for the greater good.

Uhhhh, have you been reading Maddox or something? =P

Being a vegetarian must be so boring. Eating salads all day long.

*grin* For me at least, ditching meat would doubtlessly be a palate-enriching experience. I tend to eat the same crap almost every day.

I don't agree that you have to slaughter animals to be entitled to eat them. In fact I prefer professionals to do that; they're most likely way better at it.

I didn't mean that you would need to slaughter everything you eat by yourself. I just meant that if I have moral qualms about murdering something, it's not morally fine to have someone else murder it for me.

About free range chickens, cows and such, I definitely agree. Turning a blind eye to the horrid conditions some animals live is not a very classy act, and although most people agree in theory, in everyday life the price tends to be the deciding factor; I do that too.

EDIT: Skull: I'm not ditching grilled sausage, no matter what.
