That's another way to make it last really long; just wander around looking for things to blow up.

About that talisman, I wondered as well, so I checked the source. As you may have noticed, the teleporting statue had only one crystal eye. If you wouldn't have had the charm from the duck, it would not have teleported you, but instead said "This seems to be missing a charm". And then you would not have gotten the power glove. That one I did find the use for, because I happened to reach the rocks before the statue. You were right that you needed the power glove for pushing the rocks. otherwise it is not just useless; it is of negative use: it has a -3 strength bonus, so your strength with the power glove is actually lower than without it.

I'm looking forward to FB2. Are you going to do all branches? If so, you should read the document with it, which explains what you should do to get all the different endings. That would be quite a long series, though.
