I think you may find that their is a reason PlaneWalker is no better than Cloud Castle. PlaneWalker is poor, it never got to the stage where I was going to broaden it out and make it not linear in the slightest. Therefore it is not very good.
On the other hand, A Knights Tale 1+2 may not be an improvement (in fact, they certainly aren't!) over any d-mods, but it offers a different style of game, one that is much underused.
My d-mods I am doing now are distinctly more ambitious. Since Cloud Castle I haven't really tried to improve on it's formula. Wheras SimonK kept to one style, and tried (and succeeded) to improve it, myself and certain others have not gone for that approach.
Hmm...maybe this post sounds quite defensive and egotistical, I don't know. You'll like Kupo : The graphics are by Simonk.
