I didn't really read the article. :lol: I planned to read it after I got your replies. I don't know what they did exactly... All I got from my friend was the thing about the belt...
Burning is too much. But, I guess those are common practices for certain Indians...
I've never really been "beaten" for example, all I got were light pinches...

I'm NOT defending them in any way. I actually agree with the Norwegian government's decision... I was just stating a fact when I said "not really an Indian definition". I also have no intention of using corporal punishment on my children(when I have them). In fact, the article I'm writing is about how we should learn from Europeans in this matter...
