In Atheism, a person can be who he wants to be. Can drink, eat whatever he wants etc. It is not necessary that the person does the right thing. Of course I do not mean to generalise. Religion puts a restriction to those things. (Well, Abrahamic religions do) It sets people straight from birth. Although, not always. And sometimes a bit too much.
