I immensely dislike most MMO's, because to make a seriously good one requires serious design and not just "omg, lets turn this franchise into an online vending machine/ casino!"
Either you've been playing Runescape, or somehow you heard about the Squeal of Fortune they implemented and have been advert-who***** to everyone, alongside advert boxes to Member players. *sigh*.
Runescape has some awesome story background with its quests, but otherwise you just described what everyone playing its been feeling.
Back on topic though! Assuming TES-Online actually happens I doubt I'd take a look at it. I've yet to even play Skyrim
Maybe I'll look at a trailer video for it (if one gets made), just out of curiosity, but I don't think a series that has done so well on SP would work out online.
