Since I mentioned it in the other thread, I wonder, are any of you familiar with AutoHotkey? It's a nifty Windows scripting language I "discovered" some time ago. As the name suggests, it's great for macros, but it can do quite a bit more than that.
You can create stand-alone applications that other people can use, and they won't even have to install .net or Java or anything. Plus it's free.
