If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
All of the above is dependent on HOW we do it. If we play it careful, we shouldn't have to have everyone relearning dinkc. We will just have extra stuff. And that savegame formats will probably change some is a given, but it shouldn't be enough to throw anyone off.
