That's a common reaction of westerner's.Everyone lives off stereotypes,they have a stereotype that indian's are brown skinned and black eyed,so it's only natural for him to be surprised or skeptical.
Dear Duckhater, you just stereotyped westerners; for this I don't condemn you. But your' stereotypes reeks of prejudice; for this I caution you to beware of hypocrisy.
In other news, I have Brown hair which is nearly black in winter, but becomes lighter in summer. I have eyes that switch between blue and grey-green depending on my health and I have skin which tans easily, earning me the title of "the blackest white boy around." My face is slightly on the heavier side, and I am just under 6ft.
