You were obviously born in the 21st century, to not realize how great wrestling was back then. It was literally on the top of the world, where almost every kid wanted to end up as an adult.

1. I agree. Stone Cold wasn't that great of a wrestler. Neither is John Cena. The difference is, Stone Cold was a great entertainer.
2. That gave more time to create the epic storylines and added more realism. Plus, that actually made the PPV Main Events feel like something, unlike now.
3. That's your opinion. I bet Jim Cornette would agree with you.
4. I found it quite hilarious.
5. HHH began getting all the title shots at the very end of Attitude Era, and during the Ruthless Agression era.
6. They weren't held back at all. Us fans shouldn't really be saying anything about what's happening backstage, cause we quite frankly have no idea.
7. Mick Foley is one of the top reasons why Attitude Era was great.
8. Funny at the time. Seems kinda lame to look back at now.

All in all, the ratings pretty much speak against you. You have your decent opinions there, and I respect those, but as I said, the ratings speak against you.
