If you want to avoid arseholes in Australia, stay in Victoria or South Australia, or in rural towns with an older population. NSW has the highest number of arseholes per capita. 
Re: swearing, I feel that in the 21st century, the barbarian forefathers of internet rules are antiquated; not only do most kids swear at an early age, also there is no solid evidence to prove that a couple of choice words here and there teach kids to swear. Maybe DD is an exception (she doges)
Ultimately, the odd word here and there should be ok: I presume that they're blocked for the masses to avoid abuse overuse.
