dude, i cant believe i forgot the cure, that band (are they a band?) kicks ass.

anyway, eattherats, they call it emo cause the vocals cry. thats how you know. otherwise its pop-punk like blink-182 except usually a little more talented. but i guess hardcore "emo" bands that try to be emo are like saves the day and at the drive in. you can feel the crying in the vocals.

but if you listen to lots of music, you see that all this is junk. all music is either good music or bad music, and its all related. if a band is talented, you cant call it any one type of music cause its original and has many different styles. thats why people call music hardcore, cause they dont know what the hell it is, (thrash, metal, grunge, punk???) when the first "hardcore" was straitedge NY skinhead music. even system of a down has parts with ska beats and emo vocals. and my brother used to claim that rancid was not a punk band. who cares? you shouldnt classify a music, and only listen to what conforms to that. come on. expand your musical interest and listen to it all.
