Long time no visit... very well.

I have half-completed this mod. What I mean by this, is that even though I've finished making roughly 2/3 of the expected playtime, yet for me to come up with more fresh ideas for the final 1/3 is still going to require plenty of time, and perhaps even more work than I have already done so far! There are some new random screenshots at the bottom of this post, also.

Excuses, excuses... now what about the game, how is it shaping up?

It's very compact in size - very few maps during all the 2/3 that is done yet - but plentiful in its details, so I call it Epic. You have a few different ways to go about reaching your ultimate goal (money, fame, treasure?). You have your companion "pet" fighting on your side, but I have yet to get it working correctly. Miserable!

The whole atmosphere of this game seems a little different than most d-mods, perhaps I'm setting a new trend for myself here? It's certainly moving away from the style of d-mods I've enjoyed playing the most such as Stone of Balance or FIAT, and it's rather similar to that oddball classic Legend of Tenjin in its RPG-stylish flavor in many ways. As long as I'm NOT attempting to imitate LoT, I tell myself, that I'm allowed to continue making it! I wouldn't stand if I was consciously imitating - also, even worse if my game had no humor in it! At its core, BOUNTY HUNTER is very dinkish, in fact, in its many details, references, shoutouts, or in that plain silly stuff that most of the game's interaction is made out of.

I do wish you have some patience still to stay tuned for this mod. It's a promise I made to have it done for Christmas, even if I'm referring to that certain Christmas when all your relatives have long since passed away and you're feeling miserable sitting in a wheelchair at a nursing home during the last years of your long, long lived life. Even if it means you still have to wait some time for the release - sorry. About it.
