People only bought the Harry Potter movies because of the books. The books were good. The films sucked arse, because they removed so many characters for example Neville replaced Dobby in 4 and 5 movies. I didn't like any of the movies after 2 because they were too short and boring and there were no Quidditch matches in the films.
Also, they split the 7th book into 2 movies so they could make more money. Order of the Phoenix was the longest book but the movie was too short and boring, they didn't split that one and there were no Quidditch matches or Dobby.
