If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
You don't own any of the games you buy. At any time they can be removed from your account (suspected credit card fraud etc.) and you're then unable to play them ever again. All you're buying is a serial number which can be revoked or invalidated.
Not a problem at all. When you buy a game in a retail store, you have the same issue. Yeah, you've got the game on CD, but the serial can be invalidated at any time as well.
I have yet to have any of my games removed from Steam in the 6 years I've had an account.
