noteworthy: half-life, quake, quake 3, planescape torment, goldeneye 007 (multiplayer), mario kart (multiplayer), tetris, fallout, monkey island 1 & 2
Deus Ex is special for multiple reasons, but most importantly its philosophical depth and that it presents you with truly ambiguous and difficult moral questions. No game I've played has come anywhere near that, and most don't even try.
