NEW THEORY! Since the egg, unlike the chicken, holds no innate power to create, and since the egg would die of the cold without a chicken's warmth and since the chick that came forth from the egg may have been a rooster or perhaps nothing came forth the first few times due to inefertility, and without a mother the race of chickens could not have been taught how to evade the cosmic dinosaur, thus evading extinction, the chicken certainly came first!
