If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
Hmm are you saving it in a different directory maybe?
Have you rebooted since you started the new game
have you installed dink at all or just wde? (ya need the ole orig dink)
umm.. maybe try playing the game from wde (does it work now?) - open dfarc click your dmod, click edit (opens wde) click file then click play (select yours if still not there ...)
What OS are you using - take bets you are win 7 ... win 7 puts dink under program files(x86) not just program files... tho that shouldnt stop it working...
... other than that take one of those blue bombs, light it and blow it all to kingdom come and dont forget to thumb your nose at it as it goes up
