It's no big deal man. While it's useful to use harsher discretion when resurrecting old file discussion threads, as it can be a little bit annoying (in case you didn't notice from the lashback =), some stuff well SHOULD go there, such as bumping a problem that you can't get past. It's much better than flogging the dmod page by asking the same question a dozillion times.

We should probably add something about file discussion threads to the rules/guidelines, mainly to reduce the amount of necro protesting this gets. I think you're taking the criticism a bit heavily, though- I doubt most people mind too much, certainly you've done nothing so far to warrant getting deleted.

EDIT: Resurrecting other than file discussion topics without a very good reason is a different matter, though (since those don't show up anywhere relevant to now). No one wants to see some old debate from '03 brought back to life, however interesting the subject might have been. In that case, if you wanted to discuss the stuff, just create a new thread about it.
