I tried a number of different browsers for a while about a year ago. I gave them all a try, and firefox came out as the clear winner. I still have all of them installed on my PC for when I feel like it, but Firefox is now my main browser. Here's why:

I didn't like the RSS feed system for Opera in which you had some virtual mailbox instead of the simple list of links in Firefox. I also noticed that Opera tends to have more problems with displaying certain sites.

Chrome managed to crash occasionally, which normally isn't too bad except that it took my entire operating system with it. Having to restart my computer once or twice a day just because my browser decided to crash made me quit Chrome quickly. I like the integrated translation service, which is why I still use Chrome from time to time.

I actually liked IE 8, but the lack of add-ons made me choose Firefox because I didn't see the added value of IE 8. Also I felt the need to be a conformist and say Microsoft products suck for no good reason.

Firefox for me is still the easiest browser to use and it with all the add-ons that are available I can make it work the way I want. Maybe the other browser are a bit faster or use memory more efficiently but at least I can make Firefox work the way I want. If only the flash-plugin didn't crash that often... But I guess I have to blame Adobe for that don't I?
