By the way, you might be interested to know about the bug which allows to buy a throwing axe for credit (probably, introduced in v1.03, at least Silver is affected). It is said to cost 5500 gold, but the option appears there when you have at least 4500 gold in your possession.
However, when the option is choosen, the axe guy actually borrows 5500 gold. If you have less, you still appear to have some gold left after the deal... a negative amount, in fact
It decreases as you collect gold, until you reach zero, then the gold increases as usual. 
Because the throwing axe makes it much easier to kill monsters and receive gold, one can cheat by buying it with only 4500+ gold, and then quickly get out of 'debt' with the help of axe.
