Well I suck. I just unplugged it to check it out again, and the be honest, I see nothing wrong with the lenses. Maybe it goes back and forth to reach diff parts of the CDs?! I dunno, I'm not a PS2 mechanic, but I can fix them fairy well.
EDIT: I tried two newer PS2 games with no scratches and they mostly work. But when I try older ones with scratches they don't work well at all. But then again the one I tried with scratches was one that was literally made with scratches. I tried to take a picture of my problem but the friggin' phone takes a thousand years to send pics to my email so I just practically gave up on it and threw the flashlight on it.
