Let me heat that up for you... 
I once read in a PS2 magazine that if you drive really fast then open the door and lean out and hold the disc on the road while you drive seems to work, although I think they were being sarcastic and saying how most of the things you stated don't actually work...

EDIT: I meant while driving a car
