You don't get an excuse. I run Linux too and just run stuff from Wine.
However, I am not too fond of RPG Maker and games made in it wouldn't usually run on any of my PCs (Windows or Linux). I may give yours a try later.
EDIT: um, why didn't you zip the contents? You're really making us download a bunch of individual files?
