Not really, it's never been a democracy regarding review, file approval and such. But the staff and administration does listen to suggestions and complaints, so it's not like TDN is a tyranny ruled with an iron fist.
Though approaching staff members directly is generally a more effective approach to actually get something done, than just talking about it in a thread.
